The Macmillan website (see link below) has many opportunities for students to interact with our lessons. This interaction includes games, quizzes, teacher-led examples and various other activities. Here is what we are doing:
We are almost through Chapter 9 which focuses on measuring to the nearest half inch, measuring using both the customary and metric systems, measuring temperature and figuring perimeter and area. We are putting our measuring skills to the test by drawing our dream home and figuring the area and perimeter as we go. We should be testing over this chapter by the end of this week.
Chapter 10 continues the concept of measuring, but it will focus on weight, volume and time.
